Incredible pine forests on inland dunes, adjacent to large bog system and river streams create a rather unique ecosystem. To protect it all, Dzukyja national park was established. The park happens to engulf ethnographic villages, where you will get to experience the local traditions and lifestyle.

On offer is a 1 day trip where you will get to see the unique natures wonders, such as forests and swamps (totally safe – we promise!); visit the ethnographic Marcinkonys village; visit a spring, which is called the eye of river Ula. On our way to this enchanted forest, we shall make a few stops at small towns that are historically significant and have great tales to reveal. For example, a spot where the great duke of Lithuania/ Polish king Vladislov Vaza died a public death in the Merkine Square. (1648), or a spot where Perloja republic was established at the end of WWI in the german occupied Lithuania (1918).
